My name is Josh Tribble and I am the Tea Maket President with American Bank & Trust. In my younger years, I lived in Redfield and Chamberlain but for the most part, I grew up in Watertown, SD. However, I spent 11 years in Colorado as I obtained my Master’s Degree in Strategic Human Resource Management & Development while working in the banking industry. I earned my undergraduate degree from the University of South Dakota and thereafter my Master’s degree at the University of Denver with 4.0 GPA and received the Dean’s award for academic excellence in 2013. I grew up in the banking industry and started at the age of 18 as a Teller in Watertown at F&M Bank. Since then, I have worked in several areas in banking such as Human Resources, Operations Support, Personal Banker, Branch Manager, Investment Representative, Business Banking Manager, and I have been a Business Banker for the past 5 years.

Family life is as busy as ever, I have three small children ages 5, 2, and 7 months as well as two dogs so I am constantly chasing someone around. When I’m not on the clock I enjoy all things Minnesota sports, for better or worse. I also enjoy getting outside camping, fishing, playing all kinds of sports with family and friends. I have been with AB&T since December 2021. I moved back to South Dakota from Colorado to be closer to family and friends.

My favorite part of working for AB&T is the small town bank feel with all the bells and whistles you’ll get at a big bank. I’ve worked for bigger banks in the past and I thoroughly appreciate the environment and culture we’ve cultivated at AB&T both for our employees and clients alike. We are always client focused first and foremost, from top to bottom at AB&T, it’s something we live and breath every day. I verily believe that all our Bankers are amazing and have different skills that can help provide value to our clients; however, I have always felt like one of my greatest strengths is my versatility. I have experience working in Insurance, Operations, HR, Retail Banking, Business Banking, Management, and Investment Banking throughout my almost 20 year career so I can help provide value in a myriad of different ways through my unique perspective in banking.
