How does American Bank & Trust collect my personal information?We collect your personal information, for example, when you

We also collect your personal information from others, such as credit bureaus, affiliates, or other companies.

In addition, if you are using our AB&T Mortgage App, we collect phone contacts and images in the mobile app when you share the app.

Why can’t I limit all sharing?Federal law gives you the right to limit only

  • Affiliates from using your information to market to you
  • Sharing for non-affiliates to market to you

  • American Bank & Trust does not share with our affiliates.
NonaffiliatesCompanies not related by common ownership or control. They can be financial and nonfinancial companies.

  • Non-affiliates we share with can include insurance companies, plastic card processors (credit/debit/ATM), mortgage companies, consumer reporting agencies, data processors and check printers.
Joint marketingA formal agreement between non-affiliated financial companies that together market financial products or services to you.

  • Our joint marketing partners can include debit rewards processors and associated merchants.
