My name is Rachelle Carrels and I am a VP/Business Banker with American Bank & Trust.

I was born and raised in Milbank, SD. After graduating from Milbank High School, I obtained a bachelor’s degree in Business Economics from South Dakota State University (Go Jackrabbits!!). My husband and I moved out to Spearfish for 4 ½ years post-graduation before moving to Aberdeen, where we have now resided ever since.

My husband, Brian, and I have three beautiful girls: Aria, Harper & Blakely, who are our pride and joy. We also have an adorable Labrador named Leia. While I am not at work, I enjoy spending time with my family, going on vacations and “Golf League” nights with the ladies.

I have been with American Bank & Trust since December 2021. The community bank feel, streamlined processes we have in place and support from our leadership team makes the customer’s experience as smooth and timely as possible.
