Branch Manager
Location: Sioux Falls Market – American Bank & Trust is actively looking for a Branch Manager for the Sycamore location. A retail banker with experience to lead consumer and small business sales; as well as coordinating the goal setting, tracking, and training associated with bank loan, deposit, cash management and e-Banking products. A confident manager that will ensure all bank and regulatory policies and procedures are followed consistently within the branch. A service minded leader to ensure exceptional customer service is maintained in the branch and that it is aligned with the bank’s core values. An experience professional that can handle all levels of the retail operations to ensure the branch is adequately staffed and customer needs are met.
Credit Analyst
Location: Sioux Falls Market – American Bank & Trust is actively looking for an experienced Credit Analyst. This position is responsible for evaluating credit risk associated with specific loan request, including gathering and analysis of all related financial and industry information. Additional responsibilities include developing a working relationship with the lending staff, allowing for the timely and accurate preparation of loan request presentations; as well as insuring the utilization of underwriting guidelines when preparing and analyzing loan requests.
Learning & Development Officer
American Bank & Trust is looking for an energetic professional to lead the development and execute the overall Learning & Development strategy for the bank with a strong focus on retail banking. This role ensures employees are well trained in processes and procedures and have the knowledge to best meet the customer’s needs with AB&T’s suite of products and services. This position will be responsible for building a company-wide Learning & Development program, which will be focused on helping our retail staff develop strong banking acumen, technical competencies, skills, and behaviors required to be successful at AB&T.
Market President
Location: Lennox Market – We are actively looking to hire an energetic, service minded individual for business development through appropriate community involvement. Provide leadership to all Ag Banking & Business Banking relationships in the assigned market. Provide oversight to the branch retail team to ensure they foster a culture of customer first and help in meeting strategic goals for the branch. Perform all duties associated with the Ag & Business Banker positions in originating, underwriting, and closing secured and unsecured commercial loans in accordance with established lending objectives, policies, and procedures. Establishes, maintains and maximizes relationships with existing and potential customers in their assigned market. Profitably grows loans, deposits and fees. Ensures credit quality is at the forefront of all banker responsibilities.
Mortgage Loan Originator
Location: Aberdeen Market – We are actively looking to hire energetic, service minded individuals in our Aberdeen Market to produce high quality loans that meet American Bank & Trust Home Mortgage guidelines by building referral relationships with realtors, builders, financial professionals, past customers and other nontraditional sources while providing excellent customer service. Strong sales and organizational skills are essential.
Mortgage Underwriter
American Bank and Trust is actively looking for an experienced Underwriter to join the Mortgage Team. The Underwriter provides support for transaction underwriting, managing production risk, and implementation of policies and procedures that support the home lending process. The underwriter identifies and adopts best practices and controls in relation to retail mortgage products.

VP Trust Officer- Huron
Responsible for the development of sales and administration of client accounts in the Huron market and surrounding markets. Provides back-up support to the SVP/Trust & Wealth Management.
