Hello! I am Amber Lyons, the Branch Manager with American Bank & Trust at our newly opened and only North Dakota location in Lisbon.

I was born in Bottineau, ND, but I attended K-12 in Lisbon, ND and graduated from Lisbon High School. After high school, I obtained an Accounting Degree from Minnesota State Community and Technical College.

My husband, Nathan, is also a Lisbon native. We’ve been together since my senior year of high school, and we married three years later. Nathan and I make our home outside of Lisbon, close to his family farm. We have four children: one girl, followed by three boys, ranging in ages from a freshman in college to a third grader.  We stay busy rooting for the Lisbon Broncos at football games, wrestling matches, track meets, and baseball games. When we aren’t at a sporting event or busy farming, we enjoy traveling, camping, skiing, and ranger rides as a family. If I have any spare time, I enjoy reading, baking, watching movies, and spending time with family and friends.

I have always had a knack for math and numbers in general, and love helping people. With all these combined, I have found banking to be my passion. In 2008, I began my banking career in Lisbon as a teller and worked my way up to the Branch Manager/Real Estate Mortgage Lender. I was employed at the same institution for 15½ years until being recruiting by American Bank & Trust in 2023. I have thoroughly enjoyed my time with AB&T so far. Everyone has been super friendly and helpful. We also have an incredible team here in Lisbon!

When it comes to my customers, I strive to make sure each of them feels welcome and appreciated. Being a familiar face in the community, along with my experience and knowledge to help in all areas of banking, I strive to find the best solution for each unique situation.
