My name is Jim Babcock, and I am a Market President with American Bank & Trust.

I was born in Huron, SD, but spent most of my childhood in Southern Minnesota before moving back to my parent’s hometown of Wolsey when I was 15.  After graduation from Wolsey High School, I earned a Business Degree from Northern State College.

My wife, Sherry, and I have two grown sons and one granddaughter.  I enjoy spending time with my family, hunting, and fishing.

I have been with American Bank & Trust for 36 years, with the entire time spent in Wolsey starting as an insurance agent.  My greatest enjoyment is working with my Ag customers and helping them achieve their successes.   Being an Ag Lender with American Bank & Trust for 30 plus years has given me the opportunity to work with three generations of farmers.  During my carer I have seen best of times and some of the toughest times in Agriculture and I am here to let my experiences help you succeed.
