My name is Shawn Lewis and I am a Mortgage Loan Officer with American Bank & Trust. Whether you are buying, building, or refinancing, I will be with you every step of the way.  With my background in education and coaching, I will make sure that you have all the information to make an informed decision. From the products we offer, to their product options, and throughout the entire buying process,  I will find the best product that matches your needs.

I grew up in the small town of Tabor, SD, where I attended Bon Homme High School.  After high school I went on to Northern State University and graduated in 2007 with a Bachelor’s Degree in Education and with a Coaching Minor.  I continued on to earn a Masters in Educational Leadership and Administration in 2011 also from NSU. 

While at Northern State University I met my wife, Jessica. We settled down in Pierre and have been here for the past 10+ years. Throughout the years, we have expanded our family to include two dogs, a cat, and our three children: Treyton, Abbigail and Jersey. You can find me at one of our childrens many activities when I’m not at work; but I also enjoy camping and boating when the rush of life calms down a bit. 

I have always had a passion for my community and helping people. I have previously helped others through teaching and coaching, and now I get to bring those together to help those in my community accomplish the American Dream of owning a home!
