My name is Susan Tebay, and I am a Universal Banker II with American Bank & Trust in Wessington Springs. I also do the First Branch applications for accounts and filter the Inquiries emails that come into the bank.

I have lived my entire life in Alpena, SD. Graduated from Alpena High School.

I have been married to my husband for 48 years. We have a son, Casey Tebay. He and his family (4 children) live in Dell Rapids. Daughter, Jackie Miller, and her family (3 children) live in Brandon. Daughter, Julie Prestemon, and her family (2 children) live in Bagley, MN.

Spending time with my kids and their families is one of my favorite things to do. I love going to the grandkids activities when possible. I also love working in my yard with flowers, gardening, & mowing. Digging in dirt is what I call my therapy.

I have been with American Bank & Trust 12 years. I worked in Alpena until last September and now I’m in our Wessington Springs location. I love working and getting to know our customers. I want the customer to feel comfortable with me so that they trust me to help when needed. I think when a customer gets to know you, a relationship develops.
