My name is Bob Goetz, and I’m a Market President & Regional Director of Insurance Services with American Bank & Trust.

I was born and raised in the small town of Java, SD. After high school, I attended South Dakota State University (SDSU). I graduated from SDSU in 1983 with a degree in Mechanized Agriculture. A few years later, I met my beautiful wife, Shelly, in Kimball, SD. We got married in 1993 and started a family with one daughter and one son. Both of our children also graduated from our alma mater, SDSU. Our daughter, Rachel, is now a P.A. in Watertown; and our son, Rob, is employed in the nutrition department at Egg Fresh and is expecting his first child with his wife, Anna. Outside of work, Shelly and I enjoy camping and travelling. It is our goal to visit all the National Parks. We have already visited 18 National Parks and have several more adventures to go.
