Born and raised in Aberdeen, JD values the loyalty, honesty, and hard work that define small-town life. Those values shape the way he works with clients and align naturally with AB&T’s customer-first approach to community banking, with an emphasis on personal connections, trusted guidance, and understanding each business’s needs.

JD graduated from Roncalli High School before earning his bachelor’s degree from Augustana University, where he met his wife, Emily. Today, they’re raising their two boys and continuing to build their life in the community they proudly call home. Outside of work, JD enjoys DIY projects, spending time at Mina Lake, playing sports with his boys, and working on his golf game.

As a Business Banker, JD believes strong relationships are key to helping businesses move forward. He enjoys working with new customers, taking time to listen, and serving as a trusted resource as businesses grow and navigate change. “Change can be exciting, but it can also feel overwhelming,” JD shared. “My goal is to help clients feel confident and supported every step of the way.”
