At American Bank & Trust, our vision goes beyond everyday banking. We believe in creating meaningful opportunities that make a lasting impact – both in our communities and in the lives of those we serve. One way we bring that vision to life is through our annual scholarship program.
This year, we are proud to award $1,000 scholarships to 35 graduating high school seniors from across our footprint. Selected from a highly qualified pool of applicants, these students will continue their education at accredited colleges, universities, vocational schools, or community colleges in South Dakota, North Dakota, or Minnesota.
Why It Matters
We believe access to education helps build a strong foundation for individuals and communities alike. Whether students are preparing for careers in business, healthcare, technology, trades, or the arts, opportunity and support often play a critical role in turning goals into reality.
Our scholarship program is one of the many ways we work to inspire, create, and grow potential. It reflects our ongoing commitment to investing in the future and recognizing the incredible potential that lives within the next generation of leaders, thinkers, and change-makers.
We extend our warmest congratulations to this year’s recipients and wish them continued success as they take this exciting next step. The future is bright and we’re honored to be a small part of your journey.
To the class of 2026: keep moving forward, keep believing in what’s possible, and know your community is cheering you on!
