A Strong South Dakota Foundation

Growing up on the shores of Lake Madison and graduating from Chester High School, Derek Kreutzfeldt has always had strong ties to South Dakota. His academic and athletic pursuits led him to Dakota State University, where he earned degrees in Accounting and Business Management while playing basketball for the Trojans. He later continued his education at DSU, earning a Master’s in General Business – a testament to his drive for growth and excellence.

A Career Built from the Ground Up

With over a decade of experience in banking, Derek Kreutzfeldt knows the industry inside and out. He began his career as a teller, then advanced through roles as personal banker, credit analyst, and business banker. This hands-on experience gives him a unique perspective on what customers need at every stage of their financial journey.
